Crafters, artists, and makers - join us on the 4th Tuesday of each month for an exciting new maker program.
January 27 - 10am and 5pm sessions - A Word to the Wise: Needle Felted Owls
Create a needle felted owl while learning the techniques, tools, & materials involved. Give a hoot and scoot, scoot, scoot to sign up!
February 24 - 10am and 5pm sessions - Just Pulling Your Leg: Paper Marionettes
Learn to create & manipulate wonderful marionette puppets! Choose from several different characters to tell your story and hear about the origins of this art.
March 24 - 10am. 1pm, and 5pm sessions (limited to 6 patrons per session) - Easter Eggs & Pyrography
Practice basic wood burning techniques and use them to decorate a wooden egg. Coloring options will also be given.
April 28 - 10am and 5pm sessions - Australian Aboriginal Art
G'day! Join us down under, mate, and explore the world of aboriginal art and dream lines while creating your own Aussie tile.
May 26 - 10am and 5pm sessions - On the Barn Quilt Trail
Learn about the history of barn quilts and the barn quilt trail while creating your own barn quilt -- no sewing, no fabric -- Your wood barn quilt will finish about 8" square.
