Michelle Pfister Meeting Room

The library’s large meeting room, the Michelle Pfister Meeting Room is available for public use.  The meeting room can hold up to 149 people, and there is access to projector and screen (with HDMI hookup), laptop, a microphone, a podium, a rolling white board and markers, and 130 chairs.

Priority for the use of the Library’s Meeting Room will be given in the following order:

1. Library-sponsored meetings/programs.
2. Educational, cultural and civic, and public information events of nonprofit organizations, whose membership includes residents of the City of Yorkville.
3. Meetings/programs of nonprofit groups.

Exclusions:

• Private social functions.
• Programs that are not suitable for the Library’s physical facilities.
• For-profit groups soliciting or selling products or services.
• Programs not in keeping with the Library’s goals and objectives which would interfere with the Library’s work by causing excessive noise, safety hazards, security risks, etc.
• Gambling, games, or other recreational activities.

Meeting Room Fee Non-profit:

Base rate (3 hours): $50.00
Additional hourly rate: $15.00
Clean up fee if food is served: $25.00

Meeting Room Fee For profit:

Base Rate (3 hours): $75.00
Additional hourly rate: $25.00
Clean up fee if food is served: $25.00
